The City of Eugene’s shared e-scooter system is a collaboration between Superpedestrian and local nonprofit operator Cascadia Mobility.

Parking in Eugene

Get $1 when you park in a preferred parking spot

  • Find preferred parking spaces in the app

  • Look for the green parking symbol

  • Park in a preferred spot and get $1 added to your wallet

  • Park on sidewalks wider than 8 feet

  • Park in corrals or “hubs” on University of Oregon campus, the downtown core, and the River Road area

Never park a scooter:

  • In or near curb ramps or spaces designated for persons with disabilities

  • Within 15 feet of fire hydrants

  • In vehicular drive lanes

  • On private property or along driveways to private property

  • Blocking sidewalks

  • Blocking driveways

  • Within 200 feet of waterways

  • Scooters are not allowed on Lane Transit District buses, platforms, and stations

 
 

Rider Safety

Safe first ride

  • First rides are capped at a lower speed while you get used to the ride

  • All riders are required to pass a First Ride Quiz

  • Learn how to ride

Rules to ride

  • Riders must be 18 and older

  • One person per scooter always

  • Wear a helmet - it’s the law

 

Follow the rules of the road:

  • Don’t ride on sidewalks

  • Always yield to pedestrians

  • Obey all state and local traffic laws, including:

    • Never ride while intoxicated or under the influence of any mind-altering substances

    • Use bicycle lanes and bike paths

    • Obey all traffic signs and signals

  • Don’t ride on roadways with a posted speed limit greater than 25MPH unless there is a bike lane present.

LINK-Up Eugene is Superpedestrian’s discounted fare program, offering 70% off rides to qualifying individuals living in Eugene. 

Who qualifies for LINK-Up Eugene? LINK-Up is available to people enrolled in one or more local, state, or federal assistance programs with qualifying documentation.
