How to operate a scooter

With both hands on the handlebars, place one foot firmly on the baseboard and use your other foot to push off against the ground to gain some speed, then press on the throttle with your right thumb to accelerate. As a safety feature, the scooter will not provide assist via the throttle unless the vehicle is kick-scooted into motion.

DON’T FORGET TO PRACTICE BRAKING!

There are two independent brake levers on our scooters, just like a bicycle. Squeeze both levers gently to come to a safe stop. Removing your finger from the throttle will also slow you to a stop, but not as quickly as the brake levers.

While it is safe to brake while still holding the throttle, we recommend releasing the throttle when braking.

Ride Safely!
