Vehicle Intelligence (VI) is Superpedestrian’s unique onboard operating system built for safety. VI is a true platform technology. With VI, a wide array of electric vehicles – including e-bikes, e-scooters, electric automobiles and electric aircrafts – can be made safer and more reliable.

Pedestrian Defense

Pedestrian Defense keeps the right-of-way public. Enabled by VI, Pedestrian Defense is available on some of our vehicles.

 

Detects and corrects unsafe rider behaviors in real-time, including sidewalk riding, wrong-way riding, misparking and aggressive swerving 

Alerts riders when they are behaving in an unsafe manner, issues rider safety scores, and provides ongoing education to improve riding habits

Produces insights to share with cities about how riders are behaving on their streets

Keeps pedestrian zones scooter-free

Instant Geofencing

We enforce geofences in just 0.7 seconds. We store city maps, geofenced zones, and enforcement commands onboard the vehicle, bypassing the lag time inherent in cloud-based geofencing.

Our geofencing has a 99% enforcement success rate so we can reliably uphold local regulations, promote safe riding, prevent improper parking, and satisfy community requests.
