Superpedestrian selected to join Micro-Mobility for Europe coalition

We’re kicking off the new year with the announcement of a new partnership!

As a major micromobility provider in Europe, Superpedestrian was selected as a new member of Micro-Mobility for Europe (MMfE), a coalition of micromobility operators that works with policymakers at the local, national, and European levels.

We strongly believe that micromobility can make our streets safer, provide a more reliable transportation network in cities, and help address the climate crisis. But, as with many young industries, there is a fragmented landscape of regulations that creates uncertainty for operators, cities, and riders.

That’s why it’s so important for industry leaders, including Superpedestrian and other MMfE members, to develop a framework that will ensure micromobility can flourish in cities. We’re joining forces with other operators to create a framework for European micromobility regulations that make sense, including standardized regulation, reasonable city requirements, and acceptance of e-scooters as an essential transportation option.

With the right rules for scooters, more people will be able to leave their car at home, making our cities greener, safer, and more joyful.

We’re looking forward to rolling our sleeves up this year and working hard with MMfE to ensure that European cities will benefit from micromobility far into the future.
